- The actual absence cost (calculated on a month by month basis) indicates an annual cost of £64,960 per 100 employees, a reduction of £37,440.
- The return on investment multiple relative to the programme cost is approximately 10x. (The use of Absencia also enabled the organisation to negotiate reductions on both Employer's Liability and Group Income Protection insurance premiums which in effect doubled the ROI figure to 20x)

Employee Experience/Human Dimensions:
- Signposting to Employee Assistance Programme facilitated timely interventions
- Logic established for sourcing of 'pay as you go' medical treatment costs
- Disabled employees (with conditions not previously identified) retained
- Rationale and clear protocols for use of Occupational Health support established
- Resignations/dismissals of employees with persistent short-term absence patterns and an inability to change
Qualitative Analysis:
- More effective targeting of preventative strands
- Early identification of potential workplace hazards
- Day 1 reporting of work related accidents/illnesses.
- EAP usage above average due to benefits signposting.
- Only 3.4 % of all absences were due to stress/mental health (10.2% of days lost).
